Take the Wine and Flavor Trail of Garda along Limone, then go to Desenzano and Peschiera, into the lake's lombard shores.
We are talking about an area that is famous for its winemaking, boasting reserves such as Garda Classico, San Martino della Battaglia and Lugana, every single wine of this category is awarded with the DOC label. Mild, windy lake weather is the main source of their outstanding characteristics.
Try local products such as the Formagella of Tremosine, and Valtenesi, Brescian Soppressata and other outstanding cold cuts that will be the heart of any aperitif. Then there is the Garda DOP Extra Virgin Olive Oil, traditionally made around these shores.
