The Museo delle storie di Bergamo invites you to the Museo Donizettiano.
Just behind Santa Maria Maggiore, going along Via Arena, visitors arrive at the Domus Magna: here, on the first floor, is the museum which, through paintings and memorabilia, tells the story of the life, work and personality of the great composer, famous in European musical theatre at the beginning of the Nineteenth century.
Autographed scores, letters, objects from his private life accompany visitors on a fascinating journey: guided by the words and music of the great composer.
