Along the right bank of the Terdoppio stream, on the road connecting Pavia to Mortara, is the first stop of the Via Francigena.

Bolognini Castle has been built in Sant'Angelo Lodigiano (LO), on the shore of the river Lambro; today it is home to three museum.

The Certosa di Pavia, a monastery built by Gian Galeazzo Visconti as a family chapel, is connected to the castle by the Visconteo Park.
