The gateway to the marvels of the Stelvio National Park
The Valle Alpisella Pass, at an altitude of 2285 metres is the highest, most charming point in Valle Alpisella, a picturesque alpine valley between Livigno and Valle di Fraele, in the heart of the Italian Alps.
The Pass links between Valdidentro and Livigno, and offers a range of hiking routes for all levels of experience to immerse yourselves as you explore the Stelvio National Park. It is no coincidence that Valle Alpisella Pass is very popular with people who love trekking and mountain biking. Setting out from the Fraele Pass, a well-marked, accessible route takes you for about 5 km through breathtaking alpine panoramas. With a maximum slope of 15%, it is suited both to experts and beginners. During the trip, you can also stop off to enjoy some typical cuisine near Lake Livigno.
The duration of the excursion is approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes, with a difference in height of 338 metres. The route itself is well looked after and clean, and is part of the Stelvio Natural Park, guaranteeing an immersive experience in unspoilt nature.
