Next to the dam of Campo Moro and Alpe Gera, the shelter is the ideal destination for the mountaineers who want to ascend the peaks of the Bernina range. This family-run shelter has been recently refurbished, it offers typical Valtellinese food and its rooms have en-suite bathrooms. It is a great rest stop for the hikers returning from the countless trails of the area or the cliffs of Campo Moro. It also hosts the canyoners who adventure in the underground Cormor creek.
AS IT IS REACHED: The Poschiavino mountain hut, located at 2000 meters above sea level in the upper Valmalenco, can be easily reached by car from Sondrio.
