OPENING: from mid-June until mid-Semptember

AS IT IS REACHED: park the car near the first dam in Campo Moro. After crossing the dam wall, continue along a short descending trail (about 70 m). Follow the route leaving behind the signs for the Carate and Marinelli shelters. At the end of the road there is the beginning of a mule track characterized by short steep stretches and flat parts. The height difference is roughly 120 m and it takes about 1 hour to reach Alpe Musella, where the shelter is located.
