Lomellina Archaeological Museum
A dive into the ancient civilizations of Lomellina in Gambolò
Inside the Litta Beccaria Castle is the Archaeological Museum of Gambolò, which houses over 1,200 artifacts from the Lomellina civilization, spanning from prehistory to the Celtic era and the Roman period, all illustrated by numerous explanatory panels. Special emphasis is placed on the Celtic burial goods, which include ceramic and glass objects, male and female personal ornaments, weapons, work tools, lamps, and decorative terracotta figurines made from molds, depicting deities, couples, and animals.
