Lake Pusiano
Lake Pusiano is a small glacial lake with an isle inside, characterized by old-centuries cypresses. Few minutes far from Lecco.
Lake Pusiano is placed at the foot of mountain Cornizzolo and from its shores you can admire the beautiful landscapes of the Pre-Alps Orobie.
It has ancient origin as the other Lakes Briantei because it is a glacial lake and the Lambro River is its tributary.
An evident characteristic is its rushes which frame the lake along its perimeter creating evocative panorama at sunsets and in autumn.
This small lake has also a particularity, in fact there is an isle inside, Cipressi Isle, whose name is due to the presence of over 130 cypresses, most of them old-centuries ones. This isle is a natural hill and was fortified during medieval period.
The isle hosts a private residence, whose owner is an animal passionate. His park is open to public for visit thanks to the boat Vago Eupilii.
