Cremona Art Week
From the Town Hall to the diocesan Museum, from the Art Gallery Triangolo to the Po Park, from the Baptistery to the Cathedral and the art space Robolottisei, from the ex church San Carlo to Palace Guazzoni Zaccaria. These are only few locations of the first edition of Cremona Contemporanea Art Week, which will be re-proposed this year from the 18th to the 26th of May 2024.
“The format is the same, commented the culture councilor Luca Burgazzi – but in this edition we will involve more places”. The project promoted by the Cultural Department of Cremona Municipality will be organized by Rossella Farinotti. The event aims at opening a dialogue between the local artistic historical heritage and the international contemporary art, transforming Cremona for one week in an experimentation, knowledge and discovery place.
During the Art Week, last year, were exhibited several artworks, some specifically created for the event. The artworks were disseminated all around the town, in more or less fifteen different locations: historical buildings, churches, museums and art galleries.
