There are 4 great lakes and countless smaller ones featuring numerous localities where you can spend pleasant vacations or just an intense Summer weekend. Have fun at Lake Como and Iseo, in addition to the Lombard shores of Lakes Maggiore and Garda. 

Take a boat trip and sail from one lakeside borough to the next while admiring the view. Engage in sports activities that will make for an unforgettable lake vacation​ in Lombardy: sailing, canoeing, swimming or just sunbathing at one of the Region's lake fronts.

Sports are the main activities in the mainland as well. Have you ever gone horseback riding in Lombardy? Or why not go on a relaxing bike trip? There are cycling itineraries that will allow you to explore a wide range of different territories. Don't forget that you can go paragliding and practice other exciting sports.
