From Sirmione, the pearl of poets, to Toscolano Maderno, a tranquil pastel-coloured village, the Brescia side offers a valid alternative to a seaside holiday, with a range of fabulous beaches where you can discover the infinite potential of the lake.

Pisenze and Manerba del Garda beaches — Manerba del Garda is not only famous for its **spectacular rock overhanging the lake** . With its 11 km of coast, it is also home to some of the most beautiful beaches on the Brescia shoreline. Among them, the Spiaggia di Pisenze (Pisenze Beach) is a **hidden gem in an inlet** between the Rocca di Manerba and the Isola di San Biagio (or Isola dei Conigli). Boats are banned here, to preserve **the blue and green hues** that project from the white shore of small stones offshore, making this clean, free beach a valuable swimming area.

Giamaica (or Jamaica) Beach, Sirmione — **A source of inspiration for poets** such as Catullus, Giosuè Carducci and James Joyce, the Sirmione peninsula is a fairytale-like view on Lake Garda. Here you will find the **Grottoes of Catullus**, vestiges of an ancient Roman villa, beneath which lies a beach of exotic charm. Giamaica (Jamaica) Beach is reminiscent of the **Caribbean waters** of the island of Jamaica, with a **coastline of smooth white rock** plunging into azure waters. Partly free and partly equipped with sunbeds and showers, this natural gem retains its wild side and is also celebrated by the international press.

Riva Granda beach, Toscolano Maderno — Once famous for its paper mills, Toscolano Maderno is an open-air museum, offering, in its hinterland, nature walks in the Paper Mill Valley and, on the coast, elegant beaches with a romantic feel. Riva Granda is one of these, with its beautiful views of the Toscolano harbour and its **mantle of small white stones** that glow in the sun, overlooking the **crystal-clear lake**. The beach is free, with convenient parking nearby and a restaurant with a panoramic terrace.

Baia Del Vento beach, San Felice Del Benaco — Situated in **a basin caressed by the breezes**, this beach is the jewel in the crown of San Felice Del Benaco. Its shoreline alternates between pebbly and sandy areas, blending into an illuminated surface that frames the turquoise waters of the lake, providing **a unique panoramic view of Isola del Garda**. The Baia Del Vento beach is free, with the possibility of renting sunbeds, canoes and pedal boats, and the availability of a kiosk where you can eat as well as a convenient parking area among the olive trees, available for a fee during the summer period.

Casino Beach, Gardone Riviera — On the Brescia side, and in the whole of Lombardy, the beaches of Gardone Riviera hold **Blue Flags** for the excellence of the water, respect for the environment, and the services offered. Spiaggia Casinò is not missing from the list of certified **fairy-tale waters**, even in 2024, with the aesthetic distinction of a casino behind it, recently purchased by **chef Iginio Massari**. The scenic, free-access beach also benefits from its proximity to the city centre, convenient parking, and facilities, such as showers and sunbeds, to ensure a comfortable bathing experience.
