Biking between Mantua and Sabbioneta

The Mantua-Sabbioneta bike route is a mixed route, open to both bicycles and cars, spanning approximately 47km to connect these two UNESCO World Heritage cities.  The route primarily follows the less-trafficked roads, crossing the wetlands of Oglio Sud Park.

This offers a unique opportunity to explore relatively undiscovered environments while fully immersing yourself in the region's distinctive landscape and cultural aspects.
Embarking on a cycling adventure along the trail that links Mantua and Sabbioneta promises to be an enthralling experience. It will guide you through awe-inspiring landscapes, allowing you to delve into the rich history and culture of these two cities.
Departing from Mantua, you can pedal along picturesque country trails, framed by green fields and meandering canals. Sabbioneta, a charming small town with cobblestone streets and inviting squares, will transport you back in time.  Here, you can explore the grandeur of the Ducal Palace and take leisurely walks atop the city walls, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
It is advisable to carry water and snacks for your journey, as refreshment stops may be limited along the route.  Additionally, ensure that your bicycle is in good working order, and always wear a helmet for your safety.
Prepare to be enchanted by the breathtaking natural scenery and the captivating ambiance throughout your travel adventure.
