Tirano Media Valle
Tirano is located in the mid-Valtellina area. It was a historic crossroads for travel to Switzerland, due to its proximity to the Canton of Grisons. In recent years, the town has experienced a significant increase in international tourism. In fact, the famous red Bernina Express train departs from Tirano. This scenic rail line offers views of the Albula landscape and has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
