The G Giacomotti Astronomic Observatory in Ca’ del Monte, is the site of interesting research (in partnership with both national and foreign bodies), education and general public activities via guided tours, conferences and cultural events. The digital planetarium's dome measures 75 metres and can hold up to 50 people indoors and up to 200 in its open air areas. It is equipped with fixed posts suitable for research and posts equipped with mobile instruments such as giant binoculars and telescopes which are better for star gazing.
