It is an important historic demonstration both for the architecture, which shows here the high levels achieved in the Middle Ages in art Lombard terracotta, and for the works preserved inside such as the cycle of frescoes of the Lombard school of Giovanni da Caminata, XV century; the Madonna con Bambino of Vincenzo Foppa, among the most important exponents of the Lombard Renaissance, and the wood statue of San Giacomo.
