IT’S CARNIVAL!

Cremona, the ideal background for the craziest days of the year.

Carnival is celebrated only during few days but it is always of moment of joy, colors and happiness. In February, every year, the chaos can symbolically substitute the order with a new funny atmosphere.
The children play and laugh among the town’s streets and then they cover with their confetti the entire Cathedral’s Square. A colorful blanket of small points which, like in a joke, is going to disappear very soon, leaving simply a smile on our lips. The streamers under the arcades of Federico II Courtyard and the sweet aroma coming from the bakery shops. Rich and fat sweets for these cold and crazy days. Cremona becomes super-sweet and funny behind the masks and the jokes. The Carnival goes on stage and Cremona smiles, showing its most beautiful mask.
