Churches at Valvestino
In Droane, the Church of San Vigilio, mentioned in a bull by Pope Urbano II and rebuilt in 1877. In Bollone that of San Michele built in 1537; San Giovanni Battista in Turano, the first mention of which dates back to 928 (on the third Sunday of August the Festa del Perdono is held, during which a plenary indulgence is issued, according to some conceded to the parish in 1166 by Pope Alexander III); still in Turano you can find the Church of San Rocco, built between 1580 and 1599; in Armo the ancient Church of Santi Simone e Giuda. Then again: San Matteo in Persone, mentioned in the parish of Tignale since 1537; in Moerna that of San Rocco, probably dating from the 17th century and that of San Bartolomeo, mentioned in 1537, with frescoes dating back to the 15th century.
