Park of Bernina, Disgrazia, Val Masino and Val Codera

The Park of Bernina, Disgrazia, Val Masino and Val Codera includes the most impressive mountain system of the Rhaetian Alps of Lombardy, which rises up to an altitude of 4050 metres at Pizzo Bernina and includes the highest peaks of the central Alps.

The territory includes picturesque Alpine valleys that can still be seen today, such as Val di Mello and Val Codera, of significant natural and scenic value, with traditional anthropogenic settlements worthy of protection. The wealth of diverse natural environments, from the cliff sides to the wooded valleys, ensures the presence of a rich wildlife heritage.
