Visits to the violin-making workshops

How can you make a violin? Which is the kind of wood you must use? How long does it take to make an instrument? Come and find the answer to all your questions in Cremona’s violin-making workshops.
In a workshop you can see how the masters make their instruments and you can discover you all the details of the entire process.

The varnishes, the instruments, the strings and the movements are the results of an ancient tradition and they give life to some magnificent instruments which belong to the most important musicians in the world. They represent Cremona’s violin-making tradition (intangible UNESCO heritage since 2012) all over the world.
A great experience which can be enjoyed by everyone, adults and children, experts and professionals. A little magic moment in contact with the matter which comes to life under the hands of the masters who safeguard this precious and ancient tradition.
What are you waiting for? Call the Infopoint  (+ 39 0372 407081) or send an email to the address
info.turismo@comune.cremona.it: we will be happy to help you and organize your visit in a workshop!
