Are you passionate about design and modern art?
There is a museum in Brianza that is just right of you. Just head to Lissone, better known as the furniture city, and discover it's Museum of Contemporary Art, located a few steps away from the train station.
This elegant early XXth century building has been recently restored and guards modern art pieces and installations.
Besides the Premio Lissone's permanent collection, various temporary exhibitions that take place every month. They are dedicated to modern art's newest trends or the greatest names in design, architecture and painting such as Le Corbusier, Michelangelo, Pistoletto, Giorgio de Chirico and Alberto Savinio.
It also offers free guided tours every third thursday evening, plus book presentations and happenings.
