The Bagatti Valsecchi Museum is the result of an extraordinary collecting endeavor from the late nineteenth century involving two brothers:
barons Fausto and Giuseppe Bagatti Valsecchi, who decided to restore the family mansion at the heart of Milan in a neo-Renaissance style and gather a thorough collection of XVth and XVIth century artworks and items.
Open to the public since 1994, nowadays hosts a fascinating museum that where countless cultural activities take place even after its usual opening hours: musical appointments with the La Scala Theater Academy, theatrical pieces played by young thespians from Scuola del Piccolo, encounters with renowned figures, guided tours and aperitifs.
