CHURCH OF VESIO
Churches at Tremosine sul Garda
Located in the Vesio locality, the church of San Bartolomeo is a successful example of Baroque art on Lake Garda. Built during the second half of the eighteenth century, the building comes with a protruding porch composed of a series of columns supporting a roof. Some pilasters placed against the wall round off then the façade, characterised only by the presence of several windows, also from the top rendered more graceful by the slightly curled profiling of the building. The interior has a single nave and is enhanced by the presence of significant works both of a pictorial nature, as well as sculpted and wooden. The furnishings and rich décor are, in fact, very beautiful and the wooden pulpit, organ and paintings by Cignaroli are also worthy of note, which have as a subject the Immaculate Conception of Mary and the Virgin in Glory with Saints Bartolomeo and Rocco. To also be noted are the altars, which have frequent polychrome marble furnishings .
