Tour Menaggio's Most Magical Lake Views in E-bike
Our destinations today are where you dream of going when you’re on the ferry looking up at the lake cliffs. Now you can say you’ve found the way there! Departure from Cardano.
People always wonder how you reach those churches that look like dots from the ferry - perched right on the edge of the lake’s cliffs. They hold so much wonder and amazement that it is even possible to build there. We will explore two ultimate panoramas of the lake which are largely unknown to tourists. We pedal along the main mountain road until we reach the quaint hamlet of Breglia. The pure mountain air and peace here attract hundreds of fireflies during the summer months which at night light up the gravel paths we’ll be cycling and walking today - to a very humble white chapel with a huge view. It’s impossible not to be moved by the magic. As we head back down we are accompanied by spectacular lake views at every turn. Our next stop is to discover the stories of defense lines never used as we stumble across a series of original WW1 trenches protecting some of the most incredible views of the lake. You won’t be disappointed!
