Barzio is the starting point for the path, where the Comunitã Montana and Museo della Fornace (Museum of the furnace).

Continue through a small tunnel, passing over the heavily trafficked state road. Keep on the same path arriving in Primaluna, wherein the main square you'll find the Ethnographic Museum and Parish Church with the medieval tower, continue to Cortenova, where the path will end. Now, take the SS for about 500 meters, after the Bindo tunnel, you will find a gravel path on your left. After the short path, retake the asphalt road, which will lead you up to Tartavalle, an ancient spa town.
