On the shores of Lake Iseo to discover Monte Isola
On the shores of Lake Iseo, many small villages overlook to enjoy the spectacle of its green waters.
From Toline goes down to meet Marone and then Sale Marasino, anciently cultivated by the monks, as evidenced by the many chapels present. To see: Villa Martinengo, built in 1500, faces the majestic Montisola, the largest island in a lake in Italy.
To get there, take the ferry: without a car, it is best to get around it by foot, taking in all the finer details. In order not to lose your bearings, keep an eye on the Martinengo Tower, well established for centuries. In the Gulf of the Sun ("sinus solis") Sensole stands the Fortress Martinengo, built by the Oldofredi family in the 14th century.
