The landscape between the Olgio River and the Po has a particular charm. Although you are immersed in the green plains, you can still see the Alps and Apennines.

There is an artistic feeling throughout the territory. This is due to the Gonzaga family and to Vespasiano Gonzaga who make Sabbioneta his court, transforming this area in the centre of great cultural and artistic interest.

From Casalmaggiore follow the embankment of the Po, in the direction of Cremona, until you reach Torricella del Pizzo. Turn right on a dirt road until you reach a provincial road. Be very careful and attentive when riding these few hundred meters. On the right, take the dirt road to Scandolara Ravara and then toward Casalponzone on a secondary road until you reach Solarolo Rainerio. From here, follow the cycling path up to San Giovanni in Croce and after having passed the railway, take a right and follow it until the outskirts of Rivarolo Mantovano. Continuing on the road, you'll arrive at the centre of Rivarolo del Re. Now head towards the industrial area, where a dirt road will begin. At the first intersection go right and continue to the centre of Sabbioneta. From here the secondary road leads us to the station of Casalmaggiore.
