This itinerary combines both scenic and cultural interest. Indeed, the landscapes offered by the crossing of the Ticino Park along the E1 Trail are beautiful and evocative, while the historic centers of Pavia and Vigevano, as well as the Sforzesca in Gambolò, certainly reveal their most precious corners.

The European Trail E1 is a hiking trail that serves as a link between Northern Europe (Nordkapp, Norway) and Southern Italy (Capo Passero, Syracuse). Inaugurated on July 2, 1972, in Constanta, the "European Trail" is now a reality that stretches through some of the most beautiful areas of the Ticino Park. E1 is a true green corridor, where the noble art of walking can be practiced, and it is also a rich "container" of international culture and history, attracting many enthusiasts and scholars.
