This itinerary departs from Lonato and follows along the lower part of Lake Garda, a landscape characterised by the gentle morainic hills.

These hills were formed by the expansion and shrinking of the glaciers and alluvial plains of Chiese. The small rural nuclei are mixed together harmoniously with woods, vineyards and olive groves. This was the consequence of the intense cultivation of the plains from Montichiari and Lonato.

From the centre, reach the Romanesque church of San Zeno and pass through a residential district until it goes downhill toward Lake Garda. When you get to the bicycle path, go left towards Brescia. Before reaching the town of Sedena, following the indications of the CAI path on the right, you will reach the Castle of Drugolo. Continue until you reach a little church, then turn left on the Provincial road, then at the roundabout taken an immediate right and then left.

When you reach Macesina, follow the dirt road up to Cantrina, from where, after going downhill, you'll reach the bicycle path that follows the side of the channel. After arriving at the power station Salgo, follow the bicycle path towards Montichari and then, on country roads, return to Lonato, passing from Esenta.
