You will find yourself in the plains, in the middle of the Po valley. In Rudiano, exactly in the place where, in 1191, the legendary battle called Della Mala Morte took place: Bergamo, allied with Cremona, Pavia, Parma, and Lodi, clashed against Brescia, the ally of Milan.

It is said that the army of Bergamo, bending near to the river Oglio, knocked down the temporary bridge which had been built and suffered a massacre by the troops of Brescia.

From here, go to Torre Pallavicina, where you can see the tower and the palace built in the Middle Ages, and outposts of the Visconti of Milan on the neighbouring lands. In Soncino the towers of the Sforza Fortress have been watching over the inhabitants for centuries.
