Palazzo Vistarini overlooks Piazza della Vittoria and belonged to the Vistarini family, one of the most important in Lodi, represented by military captains, judges and well-off landowners in the Lodi area.

The building used to run from Piazza della Vittoria to the beginning of what is now Corso Vittorio Emanuele. Political and financial difficulties led to the building being purchased by a relative of the Vistarini family, Giovanni Paolo Barni, who converted the section along Corso Vittorio Emanuele into his own residence, restoring it, and leaving the structure of the old building intact on the side overlooking the Piazza.

The façade is in brick lightened by the single lancet windows in terracotta and pointed arches in the portico below.

Of the ancient splendour there remain a few frescoes on the vault of the portico below, with its exceptionally high ceiling, which, by decree of the town decurion, had to be high enough to allow a man on horseback to ride under it.

Currently the building is a private residence.
