Piero's Mills
Piero is a small town perched on the slopes of the Monte Lema Massif, among winding stone roads, mule tracks and stone steps, it seems to offer the visitor an atmosphere of yesteryear, still immersed in an unreal silence.
Piero's Mills are typical mountain constructions, built with rock and local wood where traditions survive thanks to its inhabitants and a very recent renovation work: between agricultural holdings that breed goats and process goat's cheese, stands this interesting cluster of rural buildings.
Along the path alongside the Mills, it is possible to reach other mountain locations surrounded by green forests and very peaceful, like Biegno, Cangili, Monterecchio until reaching, following the forest road, Alpe Forcora.
HOW TO REACH PIERO'S MILLS:
To reach Piero's Mills on foot: Piero's bridge - square of the cable car to Monteviasco. At the crossroads take the path to the left; after crossing the bridge you will arrive at Piero.
To reach Piero's Mills by car: from Dumenza continue to Runo, Due Cossani and Curiglia.
