Mantua Hills Bike Itinerary

Mantua Hills bike itinerary, a great way to discover the varied landscape of this territory.

The areas surrounding the city and the rest of the province of Mantua are ideal to travel slowly over the hills and meadows, pedaling and discovering lesser known spots of this land in an entertaining, sportive way.

The Lower Lombardy area has the largest number of cycling networks in the Region, perfect to plan a whole day riding your bicycle.

Mantua and Sabbioneta have 47 km that go through vineyards and apple trees, hardwood forests and the characteristic fields of the Po Valley.

Even though it is not an actual bike lane, it is an itinerary of low-traffic streets and plains.

Furthermore, the Oglio Sud Park will be waiting for you with its willows and white popplars that are reflected in the river surface and englufs visitors in a quiet natural ambiance.

Mantua's moraine hills of the upper Mincio harbor 45 kilometers of apshalted roads that untangle towards the town of Monzambano, which harbors a castle as well.

By going along this bucolic scenery you will encounter towns such as Castiglione delle Stiviere, Solferino, Cavriana, Castellaro Lagusello and the food & wine itineraries they offer. You can also count on the bike rental services that local inns propose to their guests.
