Crossed by the Adda River, Valtellina runs north of Lake Como to the Alps, enclosing stunning plateaus, vineyards, imposing mountains, and ancient villages.

It can all be seen by car, hopping from cellar to cellar along the Strada del Vino, or by foot or bike along the Sentiero Valtellina and the Via dei Terrazzamenti.
