Immerse yourself online in art in Lombardy

The art of Lombardy is online on websites, catalogs and virtual exhibitions, videos and apps of museums and cities: choose the virtual path you prefer in Milan, Monza, Bergamo, Brescia, Como and Mantua.

Visiting a museum in person, admiring paintings and sculptures, spending an afternoon at an exhibition, experiencing the thrill of getting to know the creative work of an artist live, attending a fair where admiring artifacts from different cultures and countries is priceless.

But at a time when activities and programs are necessarily suspended to deal with the health emergency, why give up completely on such a pleasant and nourishing experience for the mind? Why not continue to visit, at least virtually, the unique beauties and cultural sites of Lombardy?

Archives and entire digital collections, online tours of cities and museums, 360° photographic reviews of works and monuments, even botanical gardens in Lombardy: all this can be seen from the sofa at home. Make yourself comfortable: here are some tips on the visits that you cannot miss this winter!

Milan and surroundings: from an online tour of the city to the Reggia di Monza Park
On the website sponsored by the Municipality Yes Milano, which promotes the metropolitan city, the online activities proposed are many. Among them, all interesting, the virtual tour of Milan with virtual visits of the Duomo, Castello Sforzesco, Teatro alla Scala, Basilica of Sant’Ambrogio and various Milanese monuments. Not to be missed are the virtual tours of the Milanese museums. None are missing: from the Last Supper to the GAM, from the Museo del Novecento to the Mudec, from the Prada Foundation to the Triennale…

A particularly interesting initiative is that of the Pinacoteca di Brera which, through the online platform BreraPlus +, enriches its cultural heritage with special events in live streaming, multimedia content, videos and constantly updated insights.

If, on the other hand, what you want is an immersion, at least virtual, in nature, know that the botanical and landscape collection of the Park of Monza has rightfully entered the virtual gallery of the Royal Palace of Monza.
