Galbusera bianca

Rediscover the taste of life slowly immersed in unspoiled nature, visit the Oasis of Galbusera Bianca.

Galbusera Bianca is located on a Site of Community Importance in the Municipality of Rovagnate (Lc), specifically in Montevecchia Park and the Curone Valley.

The Oasis of Biodiversity is the first Italian private oasis to have been affiliated with Italy's WWF Oasis System since 2005.

The area covers approximately 20 hectares including a hilly terrace area planted with vineyards and orchards, meadows and gardens, surrounded by woods, and a biodynamic farm.

The Galbusera Bianca Oasis is an example of a harmonious balance between nature and human intervention.

The central idea behind the Oasis is the ecologically-friendly architectural restoration of the 14th century village of Galbusera Bianca powered with renewable energy resources. The village consists of 5 historic farmsteads, of great scenic and environmental value, with private homes, surrounded by a biodynamic farm, with a restaurant serving natural cuisine, an inn with 10 rooms and space for cultural and educational seminars in harmony with nature.
