Imagna Valley among woods, spirituality, and villages

where
Where
Valle Imagna (BG)

It takes little to fall in love in the Imagna Valley. Nestled between the Orobian Pre-Alps and the Bergamo plain, one can marvel at an enchanting corner of Lombardy just a stone's throw from Bergamo, where one can stroll along trails and winding mule tracks in hiking boots, in the company of the subtle rustle of leaves and the game of light among the canopies of centuries-old trees.

It is also possible to head out fully equipped on a mountain bike through dense thickets that suddenly open up, almost dazzlingly, into vast high-altitude pastures.
The Imagna Valley is surrounded by an imposing mountainous backdrop, which creates the perfect setting for excursions and outdoor activities.

The small scattered villages and old towns still retain a marked Alpine accent, with old stone churches. Palaces and streets that explain, like pages in a book, local events and traditions. Its privileged location, far away and hidden from the big cities, even though this was not always the case in its tumultuous past, gives the valley a peaceful atmosphere where one can perceive the passage of time still in tune with the cycles of nature.
This is how this exploration begins, taking you through villages, spiritual places, and forests.
