Eat like a local not like a tourist
Learn to prepare typical Italian and Bergamasco dishes Go shopping at the local markets with the chef Cook together with the chef Savour delicious dishes
When visiting Bergamo, learn the secrets of Italian home cooking with a hands-on lesson in the private kitchen of a family in Bergamo.
It’s a great way to learn about Italian cuisine and culture and the time we are going to spend together will be fun, fascinating, friendly and profitable.
A walk through the local fruit and vegetable markets, a stop by some Bergamasco speciality shops, a sparkling aperitif and some typical appetisers: our cooking lessons begin and end at the table so you can taste the dishes you have prepared accompanied by excellent wines from Lombardy.
Together we will create a complete menu, based on classic Italian recipes and products, revealing some small tricks of the trade and teaching simple preparation and cooking techniques that you can repeat at home, with the help of Michele's Kitchen recipe book. Then we will taste the fruits of our work together.

The experience can be held in Italian, English and French.
The duration of the course is two or three hours with final tasting and can last one day or even a whole week.
Couples, small groups, families, even with children aged 10 and up, anyone who wants to have fun in the kitchen can participate and learn how to cook traditional Italian dishes.
Depending on the number of participants, lessons will be held at Michele's house, in special locations or at your host facility (if this is permitted).
The courses are held in a totally practical way: the chef shows the steps to follow and the participants replicate the dishes on the menu, each one individually, at their own cooking station.
